Germany – The Eberspächer Group, a manufacturer of exhaust and thermal management products based in Esslingen am Neckar, Baden-Württemberg, has expanded its executive board from three to seven members, with appointments in finance, strategy, and division management roles.

Two Co-CEOs, Marcus Knödler and Volker Cwielong, will manage the group’s exhaust technology business (called ‘Purem’). Both men have been with the company for over five years. They take over from Dr Thomas Waldhier, who is leaving the company. Waldhier served as COO of the Exhaust Technology Division from 2012 until the establishment of Purem in 2021.
