Finland Sensible 4 Oy of Espoo, Finland has officially launched its autonomous driving technology following extensive testing in simulated and real-world environments. The software will be ready for integration with vehicles entering serial production from 2024 onwards.

‘DAWN’ is an autonomous driving software platform product designed specifically for all-weather conditions in which visibility is obscured due to darkness or heavy rain or snowfall. According to Sensible 4, DAWN allows autonomous vehicles to operate in places previously considered “unthinkable”, without the need for lane markings. In June, the company carried out tests in Bodø municipality, which is situated north of the Arctic Circle in Norway.
