UK - Electra Commercial Vehicles Ltd of Blackburn, UK, has expanded its portfolio of zero-emission vehicles with the introduction of a refrigerated hydrogen Fuel Cell Battery electric Vehicle (FCBeV) or HFC-electric hybrid truck, called the H2 Electra. Steven Storar, project manager at Electra, at Cenex 2022 in Millbrook, UK, where the truck made its exhibition debut, explained that the vehicle is based on its Electra eCargo electric truck fitted with a hydrogen fuel cell range extender supplied by Proton Motor Fuel Cell GmbH of Puchheim, Germany. The body is by Solomon Commercials Ltd of Haslingden, UK, and the refrigeration is an Iceland rigid truck electric fridge unit provided by Carrier Transicold UK Ltd.
