Irizar to start deliveries of first ie trucks in late 2023

Spain – The Irizar Group of Ormaiztegi, Spain, has announced the first commercial delivery of its all-electric purpose-built truck, ie truck, is scheduled for the end of 2023.

Irizar says it will deliver two battery-electric refuse (N3 category*) trucks to the Donostia - San Sebastian City Council in San Sebastian, making it the first city in Spain to take delivery of Irizar’s purpose-designed all-electric truck. San Sebastian is also where the Irizar ie truck underwent testing for several weeks last year.
