Mahle appoints new CEO and CFO

Germany – The supervisory board of automotive parts manufacturer Mahle GmbH of Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg has announced the appointment of Arnd Franz as CEO of the group, effective 1 November. In addition, Markus Kapaun will succeed Michael Frick as CFO. 

Franz returns to Mahle from automotive parts distributor LKQ Europe GmbH, where he has served as CEO since 2019. Prior to that, he worked at Mahle for 18 years. Kapaun is a long-time employee at Mahle, having started as a trainee in 2003. His most recent post is Vice President Finance & Accounting Europe, which he has held since 2020. Frick, who leaves the company at his own request, worked almost 20 years at Mahle.
