Quantron to expand into North America, receives first major U.S. order

Quantron management signs order for 500 FC trucks in the USA
Germany / USA – Quantron AG, an electrification specialist based in Gersthofen, Bavaria, Germany, is expanding its market presence to North America, following the establishment of a U.S.-based subsidiary. The company also announced an order for up to 500 fuel-cell electric trucks from TMP Logistics Group, an integrated group of over a dozen American firms.
Quantron aims to replicate its business model – which involves retrofitting used vehicles with electric powertrains and selling new vehicles based on existing OEM platforms – in North America, and it also plans to develop new vehicle ranges for this market. The company also plans to roll out its ‘Quantron-as-a-service’ offering in North America, providing hydrogen-powered vehicles and infrastructure as part of a single package.
