Three partners announced for Quantron-as-a-Service

Germany – Quantron AG, a retrofit firm based in Gersthofen, Bavaria, has announced partnerships with two Indian companies and one British company, who have agreed to help Quantron develop its vehicle subscription service.
‘Quantron-as-a-Service’ is a play on the idea of ‘Mobility-as-a-service’, or on-demand provision of transportation coordinated through a digital platform. Quantron offers commercial vehicles – either Quantron-badged vehicles or used vehicles retrofitted with e-powertrains – insurance, maintenance and aftersales support, and charging infrastructure or hydrogen fuel as part of a single service paid for on a “per-kilometre” basis.
