More than 2,000 CO2 heat pumps now in service, says Konvekta

GermanyKonvekta AG of Schwalmstadt, Germany, has revealed that it has delivered more than over 2,000 CO2 heat pump thermal management systems to the European market. Konvekta, which has been a pioneer in the use of carbon dioxide as a refrigerant, says it’s roof-mounted CO2 heat pump has been adapted for electric buses and can operate in ambient conditions from -20°C to +45°C without requiring an additional separate electric heating system. Konvekta says this range covers the profile of a temperate climate zone and allows year-round vehicle operation.
