DTNA Freightliner eCascadia

USA – Daimler Truck North America LLC (DTNA) of Portland, Oregon has begun delivery of electric trucks to food distribution company, Sysco Corporation, as part of the order for 800 class 8 battery electric Freightliner eCascadia trucks to be delivered by 2026.

Some vehicles will be equipped with electric refrigerated trailers which fall in line with Sysco’s climate goal to reduce direct emissions by 27.5% through electrifying 35% of its U.S. fleet by 2030, whilst the company continues to build its charging infrastructure to support additional battery electric truck deployments, including adding additional solar capacity.
