Goodyear unveils new truck tyre range using renewable material

USA – Akron, Ohio-based Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company has announced a new product range, the Goodyear Wrangler Workhorse, designed for all-season traction, backed by a 95,000 km treadwear limited warranty. The range is available in 34 sizes and certain LT and C-type sizes of the tyre incorporate soybean oils that replace a portion of the traditionally used petroleum-derived materials, adding to the company's sustainability credentials.

This follows a previous announcement that the manufacturing of certain commercial vehicle tyres will use soybean oil.
