Continental offers new fleet management service to customers

Germany – Continental AG of Hanover, aim to bring down fleet operating costs by introducing its Lowest Overall Driving Costs (LODC) programme which provides an advisory service that pools together tyre-related operational costs such as retreading, digital solutions and other services. This works with fleet operators providing Continental with fleet data which will be used to advise customers on cutting costs through optimum tyre selection and data-driven servicing management resulting in tyre checks and maintenance at exactly the right times. A 24/7 breakdown service as well as a review of the customer’s ordering, administrative and invoicing processes are a further offering within the LODC service. According to Continental, all of these elements have the potential to extend tyre life, reduce downtime and lower fuel consumption, therefore decreasing operational costs.
