Stellantis partners with French start-up to retrofit light commercial vehicles

Netherlands / FranceStellantis NV, an automotive corporation based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, has announced it is partnering with Qinomic SAS of Venelles, France to convert light commercial vehicles to run on electric power. 

The two companies have agreed to create a proof of concept for converting used vans with internal combustion engines to electric vehicles. They hope to begin retrofitting vans with electric powertrains for customer demonstrations next year, with a market launch to follow in the year after.
