First Hydrogen to build an assembly plant for LCVs in Quebec

Canada / UK – First Hydrogen Corporation of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, has announced it plans to build an assembly plant for its range of hydrogen-powered vans in the City of Shawinigan, Quebec. These light commercial vehicles (LCVs) are currently being tested at the Horiba Mira proving ground in Nuneaton, UK.

The company has acquired the land, conducted site evaluations and is now in the process of developing the area for the assembly of its range of LCVs. It also plans to install a 50MW hydrogen electrolyser to produce green hydrogen for distribution alongside its vehicles. It plans to target sales in the city of Montreal.
