Javier Iriarte appointed CEO of Solaris

Javier Iriarte, CEO of Solaris

Poland – Solaris Bus & Coach sp. z o.o., a manufacturer based in Bolechowo, Poland, and its parent company, Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles (“CAF Group”) of Beasain, Spain, have appointed Javier Iriarte as CEO of Solaris, effective 1 January. He replaces Javier Calleja, who has served as CEO since October 2018 and has decided to leave for personal reasons.

Iriarte began working for the CAF Group in 2020, as Director for Strategy & Transformation in its rolling stock business. Previously, he worked for management consultancy McKinsey & Company and involved himself in the automotive, advanced electronics, aerospace and shipbuilding industries.
