USANew Flyer of America Inc, a subsidiary of the NFI Group based in Crookston, Minnesota, announced in December the signing of a contract for the supply of up to 157 buses to Pittsburgh Regional Transit, a state-funded transport operator serving the city of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania.

The contract includes a firm order for 69 sixty-foot buses, 15 of which are battery-electric ‘Xcelsior CHARGE NG’ buses, while the other 54 buses are diesel.
