FranceRenault Trucks SAS, a subsidiary of the Volvo Group based in Saint-Priest, France, announced in December that it is adding two new modules – called “Health” and “Safety” – to its ‘Optifleet’ suite of fleet management applications. The two new features are available on the T, C and K truck ranges.

“Health” notifies fleet managers immediately when warning lights flash up on a fleet vehicle’s dashboard. The notification is sent via email or through a pop-up on the Optifleet portal. The aim is to allow fleet managers to respond to potential faults and schedule maintenance work more quickly.
