Brazil – Empresas Randon SA of Caxias do Sul, State of Rio Grande do Sul and Gerdau SA of Porto Alegre, Brazil has released further details of its new joint heavy-duty leasing business announced on September 1, 2022. The name of the new JV is Addiante Serviços Financeiros e Digitais, a new company, headquartered in São Paulo, specializing in leasing services for heavy-duty trucks, semi-trailers, and associated equipment.
The incorporation documents for the new company were signed at the beginning of November, triggering the start of the company's activities. The partners have made an initial investment of BRA250 million (USD48 million) with parity ownership or 50% shareholding by each partner in the new unit.
