Cummins names Jonathon Wood as new Chief Technical Officer

USA– Drivetrain systems manufacturer, Cummins Inc of Columbus, Indiana, has appointed Jonathon Wood as the new Chief Technical Officer, who will take over from Jim Fier, who retires at the end of March this year after 36 years at the company.

Wood, who joined Cummins in 1994, has occupied roles that include, Executive Director of Engineering and Vice President of Components who is credited with Cummins’ successful components business that met global VI emissions regulation. He has a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and has utilised that in his work in China, Europe and America developing global engineering teams.
