Electric trucks ordered by XPO Logistics from Renault Trucks

France Renault Trucks SAS, a subsidiary of the Volvo Group based in Saint-Priest, France, has announced an order for 100 electric trucks from the French subsidiary of XPO Inc (“XPO Logistics”), a goods transportation firm based in Greenwich, Connecticut, USA.

Renault Trucks began delivering vehicles in the fourth quarter of 2022 and will continue deliveries up to 2024. The order comprises a mix of 16-tonne and 19-tonne E-Tech D trucks. It follows on from a trial of a single 16-tonne electric truck which XPO has conducted in Paris and Lyon since October 2021. The 100 trucks will be distributed across 28 sites operated by XPO in France. Additionally, 80 chargers will be installed at XPO’s depots.
