CV sales in Colombia rallies 14.57% with the bus and coach segment rising by 58% - boosted by an 886% increase in e-bus sales

Colombia - According to data from ANDEMOS (National Association for Sustainable Mobility) in Bogotá, 41,634 trucks and buses were sold in 2022 compared with 35,567 units in 2021, a rise of some 6,067 units or an increase of 14.57%.
The truck market registered an increase of 12.54%, with 38,224 units sold, against 33,413 vehicles in the previous period. The light to medium duty truck segment, up to 10.5 tons gvw, ended the year with registrations of 29,597 units, an increase of 10.3% over the 26,836 sold last year. The segment of trucks with tonnage above 10,500 kilos sales totalled 8,627 vehicles, with growth of 31.3% over the 6,577 units sold in 2021.
