Hyundai sells Xcient hydrogen fuel cell truck

South Korea / Israel - Hyundai Motor Company (HMC) announced it has delivered a first batch of hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) heavy-duty Xcient trucks to Israel, at a special launch event held in Tel Aviv in December.

The South Korean automaker, headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, initially delivered three Xcient trucks - one to Israeli vehicle dealer, Colmobil, one to local hydrogen producer, Bazan and one to hydrogen refuelling station operator, Sonol - as part of the establishment of a hydrogen supply-chain partnership in line with Israel’s commitment to reduce carbon emissions.
