FPT to supply Iveco with battery packs for E-WAY buses

Italy / Belgium - FPT Industrial of Turin, Italy, has signed an agreement with sister company, Iveco Bus to supply battery packs for its 500 E-WAY full-electric 18-metre articulated city buses to be delivered to Belgium.

Developed in Turin, the 69 kWh NMC (Lithium-Nickel-Manganese-Cobalt-Oxide) modular battery packs have been specially designed for LCVs, minibuses and buses, offering a fast-charge feature. The vehicles are to be operated in Flanders, with deliveries beginning in Q1 2024.
