Tenneco expands testing capabilities to accommodate hydrogen engines

USA / GermanyTenneco Inc, an automotive components supplier based in Lake Forest, Illinois, USA, has announced that it recently expanded its testing capabilities in the USA and in Germany to include hydrogen combustion engines.

The announcement concerns two powertrain test centres located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA and Burscheid, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Both sites will now be able to accommodate original equipment manufacturers looking to test internal combustion engines running on hydrogen fuel. The testing involves a combination of practical tools on test benches and simulation tools.
