BorgWarner launches new starter at the Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week in Texas

USA / Mexico – CV powertrain components giant, BorgWarner Inc of Auburn Hills, Michigan, USA, has unveiled its new Delco Remy 150MT heavy-duty starter at the Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week in January 2023, in Grapevine Texas. BorgWarner says the Delco Remy 150MT boasts a high-performance power pack that optimises performance for better engine starts, whilst also supporting multiple vehicle power sources and battery loading. Additionally, with its rotatable flange design, the 150MT provides coverage for almost every 12-volt and 24-volt application, the company says.
BorgWarner adds, aftermarket customers will also have the option of adding Integrated Over Crank Protection (IOCP), a built-in circuit breaker that protects the starter from thermal damage. This product is produced at their plant in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, and is now ready for purchase.
