Sweden / Finland Scania AB, a truck and bus manufacturer and subsidiary of the Traton Group based in Södertälje, Sweden, has announced a partnership with oil-refining company Neste Oyj of Espoo, Finland to develop software which will track the usage and climate impact of renewable diesel in customer fleets.

Using the Scania Fleet Management Portal as the foundation, the two companies have come up with a digital application which draws on data regarding where a truck has been refuelled, its mileage, and fuel emission data for Neste’s renewable diesel. Customers will thus be able to monitor their fuel usage and greenhouse gas emissions for their fleet of renewable diesel trucks.
