AVL appoints Matthias Dank as new board member and Executive Vice President

Austria – At the start of 2023, AVL List GmbH of Graz, Austria (a specialist in development, simulation and testing in the automotive industry), announced the appointment of Matthias Dank as a new board member and Executive Vice President of the Instrumentation and Test Systems Division; Dank joins from McLaren where he occupied the role of Director of Motorsport. Dank previously worked at AVL between 2010 and 2020, as head of the Instrumentation and Test Systems Division. He will be responsible for AVL’s international business development, sales and international operations, utilising his 20 years of automotive experience in product development, engineering management and business expansion.
