Tata Motors’ subsidiary TML Smart City  to supply and operate 921 electric Starbus buses in Bengaluru

India - Tata Motors Ltd of Mumbai, through its wholly owned subsidiary, TML Smart City Mobility Solutions Ltd1, also of Mumbai, has signed an agreement with Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) for the supply and operation of 921 units of Tata Motors’ 12m electric Starbus city buses2 in Bengaluru.

As part of the agreement, TML Smart City Mobility Solutions Ltd will supply, operate, and maintain all 921 units 12-metre low-floor electric buses for a period of 12 years. This order is a part of the larger tender by Convergence Energy Services Ltd (T&BB India Feb 2022).
