By Bradley Osborne - 23rd March 2023

USA – Earlier this year, specialty truck manufacturer Oshkosh Corporation of Oshkosh, Wisconsin opened a new facility in Murfreesboro, Tennessee which will primarily build its recently announced fully integrated electric waste collection vehicle.

The 844,490-square-foot facility expands on the existing production capacity of Oshkosh and its subsidiary, McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing Inc of Dodge City, Minnesota, in the state. The site will be mixed-use, but it will mainly serve the purpose of scaling up production of the new electric refuse truck (to an unspecified production capacity). Oshkosh aims to begin delivering this vehicle to customers by early next year.
