European city bus markets almost back to pre-covid levels but coach market still depressed

Europe – Bus and coach deliveries in Europe* (*Countries EU27+UK+ICE+NO+CH) fell for a third year in a row, according to figures collated and produced by Wim Chatrou of Chatrou CME Solutions (CME) of The Netherlands.

CME reported total bus and coach registrations in EU27+4 of 25,658 units in 2022, a decrease of 5.9% from 27,277 units in 2021 and a 22.2% fall from the record year in 2019 of almost 33,000 (Note: Figures for 2020 are not provided by CME).
