South Korea’s Moderntec wins major US order for EV charging systems

USA / South Korea - Moderntec Corp Ltd of Danwon-gu Ansan, Gyeonggi, South Korea, a manufacturer of electric vehicle (EV) charging systems, has announced signing an export agreement worth KRW1trn (USD758m) to supply charging systems for the US market over a period of three years.

South Korean government-funded Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and Startups Agency is supporting the deal, which was signed with an unnamed partner in the USA. It is understood to be the largest South Korean export order for EV charging equipment to-date.
