Microvast to supply Mafi & Trepel with batteries

The T 230e terminal tractor by Mafi

Germany / USA – Microvast Holdings Inc of Stafford, Texas, USA has announced a partnership to supply lithium batteries to Mafi & Trepel Technology GmbH, a manufacturer of terminal tractors and ground support equipment (GSE) based in Bremerhaven, Bremen, Germany.

The relationship between the two companies reportedly goes back to 2021, when Microvast supported the development of a prototype battery pack for Mafi’s electric terminal tractors. Now Mafi & Trepel have selected the American company’s latest ‘MV-C Gen 4’ battery systems for commercial vehicles to power their electric product ranges.
