ZF achieved record sales of EUR43.8bn in 2022

GermanyZF Friedrichshafen AG, a component and mobility systems manufacturer based in Friedrichshafen, Baden-Württemberg, published its annual report for 2022, showing record sales of EUR43.8bn. This is a 14% increase on its total sales for 2021, which were EUR38bn. 

The group’s adjusted earnings before interest and taxes were EUR2bn, providing a 4.7% margin – slightly less than the 5% margin reported last year. The group spent more on research and development in 2022 than in 2021: EUR3.4bn compared to EUR3.1bn. Moreover, the group invested EUR1.9bn in its global property, plant and equipment.
