Germany / LuxembourgZF Friedrichshafen AG, a component and mobility systems manufacturer based in Friedrichshafen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, has announced that its Aftermarket division made a strategic investment (of an unspecified amount) in digital fuel services brand ‘CarPay-Diem’, developed by Luxembourg-based company Kwalyo SA

Launched in 2019, CarPay-Diem has built up a network of 44,000 fuel stations in Europe which use its digital services to allow for fuel payments via mobile or “fuel cards”. The company is also building up a network of EV chargers which drivers can also pay for digitally. It provides a “brand-agnostic” platform that acts as a single point of access or mobile payment hub to sites from multiple fuel retailers.
