Forsee Power, Blue Solutions and Bluebus to cooperate on a new battery system

France – Forsee Power SAS of Paris, France, has signed agreements with Bolloré Group’ subsidiaries, bus manufacturer, Bluebus SAS and French battery manufacturer, Blue Solutions SAS, based in Puteaux to develop a French-manufactured solid-state battery.
Slated for completion by 2026, the new battery system will utilise a new generation of battery cells (GEN4) to be developed by Blue Solutions and integrated by Forsee Power into its battery systems. Bluebus thereafter will make use of this new lithium-ion NMC (Nickel Manganese Cobalt) battery in its 6 and 12-metre electric buses. The design chemistry of these batteries is expected for them to last the lifetime of the bus as well as meet the ever-growing demanding requirements of operators in terms of speed of charge, durability and safety.
