Solaris announces order for 52 hydrogen buses, its largest to date

Poland / Germany – Solaris Bus & Coach sp. z o.o. of Bolechowo, Poland has announced its largest single order to date for fuel-cell electric buses: 52 vehicles for Rebus Regionalbus Rostock, a public transport operator serving the Rostock district in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany.
The operator has ordered 47 ‘Urbino 12 hydrogen’ buses and 5 ‘Urbino 18 hydrogen’ articulated buses. These have been specified with heat pumps for onboard HVAC. Rebus Regionalbus Rostock says it will build its own refuelling stations at its depots in Güstrow and Bad Doberan.
