Mercedes-Benz celebrates 60 years of truck manufacturing at Wörth plant

Germany – This month, Daimler Truck AG of Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Baden-Württemberg celebrates sixty years of Mercedes-Benz truck manufacturing in Wörth, Germany, having produced over 4.4 million trucks at the site. The three million square metre plant is the company’s largest manufacturing location and employs just under 10,000 staff members producing the Actros, Arocs, Atego, Econic, Unimog and Zetros models with a total capacity of 470 trucks per day. Series production of the electric eActros began in 2021 and the following year the eEconic started.
