Bandvulc unveils new re-tread tyre for the bus market

UK – Tyre re-tread company, Bandvulc Tyres Ltd, a UK-based subsidiary of Continental AG of Hanover, Germany, has unveiled its new Citymaster 5 re-tread tyre for the bus and coach sector. In order to deal with kerb scrapes, the tyre features a reinforced sidewall which adds an extra layer of rubber compound to the outer sidewall for enhanced protection. The tyre features a dimple indicator moulded into the sidewall rubber in three places allowing operators to easily identify when a tyre has been compromised and should be considered for a change.
