SK Innovation invests in ammonia fuel-cell firm Amogy

South Korea / USA - SK Innovation Inc, headquartered in South Korea’s capital city Seoul, has invested a further USD50m in Amogy Inc – a US startup company, based in Brooklyn, New York, USA, focused on developing power systems based on ammonia.

SK Innovation, a South Korean energy group and parent company of electric vehicle (EV) battery manufacturer, SK On Company, led the USD139m Series B-1 fundraising round for Amogy Inc, which it describes as a pioneer in the development of emissions-free, ammonia-powered fuel cell systems.
