USA – At the Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo in Anaheim, California, held between 1-4 May 2023, Plus of Santa Clara, California announced it had signed an agreement to integrate its autonomous vehicle technology with steering systems developed by Robert Bosch GmbH of Gerlingen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

Plus’s technology is intended to enhance Bosch’s existing portfolio of steering systems which incorporate advanced driver assistance features to make handling easier and safer for the driver. Though neither partner has announced what new functions ‘PlusDrive’ would bring to a Bosch steering system, Plus noted such capabilities as traffic jam assist, merge handling, lane change, over-the-air updates, lane nudge, sensor self-calibration, and driver monitoring, all of which could inform a jointly-developed product.
