Australia / Canada – Loop Energy Inc, a manufacturer of hydrogen fuel cell systems based in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada, and Mynt Pty Ltd, based in Queensland, Australia, a manufacturer of power generators, have announced a partnership to manufacture hydrogen-electric power generators. Under the agreement, revealed in May, Loop Energy will supply its fuel cell modules for integration into Mynt’s range of Purple H2 generators, designed to offer a clean energy alternative to diesel generators. Mynt will then operate as the distribution partner in the Australian market.

Mynt plans three trials for its Purple H2 generators in the second half of this year in Queensland, Australia. With the first units already in production, the Australian company expects demand to increase over the next two years. With goals to offer a product with strong fuel efficiency, product longevity, and total cost of ownership, Mynt is said to have selected Loop Energy due to its eFlow technology, which Loop says, “delivers up to a 16% fuel efficiency advantage; 90% more peak power; and up to 10 times improvement in current density over comparable products.”
