Pepper Motion redefines itself as Tier 1 supplier as it changes its business & sales focus

Germany – In May, Pepper Motion GmbH of Denkendorf, Bavaria announced amid a series of new appointments that it would be shifting its business focus from retrofitting diesel trucks and buses to the supply and contract development of electric drive systems to OEMs and special vehicle manufacturers.
Starting out as ‘E-troFit’, Pepper Motion changed its name in 2021 as it began offering fuel cell electric retrofits alongside its battery electric option. Since then, it has worked on developing its proprietary battery and software technologies for its electric drive system. Based on ZF’s e-powertrain products, Pepper Motion’s electric drive systems are installed in Mercedes-Benz buses and trucks and resold to customers. In addition, Pepper Motion offers retrofit services to fleets.
