Nikola receives order for 50 fuel cell electric trucks from AJR Trucking

USA – In May, Nikola Corporation of Phoenix, Arizona received an order for 50 fuel cell electric trucks from AJR Trucking of Compton, California, a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service and a drayage carrier operating in the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.
The 50 ‘Nikola Tre FCEV’ trucks were ordered by AJR Trucking through Tom’s Truck Centers, one of Nikola’s official dealers in the United States. Nikola said that AJR Trucking is also interested in deploying the company’s mobile refuellers at properties in Compton and Santa Clarita. In any case, Nikola will supply hydrogen fuel to AJR Trucking’s terminals as part of the service contract.
