Goodyear subsidiary unveils new trailer tyre

Cooper Work Series Regional Haul Trailer (RHT) 2.

USA – Findlay, Ohio-based, Cooper Tire & Rubber Co (a subsidiary of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company) has unveiled a new trailer tyre, the Cooper Work Series Regional Haul Trailer (RHT) 2, which the company says delivers more fuel efficiency and added durability. Available in 8 different sizes, the tyre is now available for purchase and has been designed to help fleet owners meet regional haul demands in both tandem and spread axle trailer applications.

The Cooper Work Series RHT 2 features, low rolling resistance, a high scrub tread compound, advanced tread features and a shoulder profile that helps minimise rearing and chunking in high scrub applications as well as a wear square visual indicator that helps determine the remaining tread on the tyre that can assist in detecting wheel alignment issues with the vehicle.
