Cummins buys out Air Liquide’s share in Hydrogenics

USA / CanadaCummins Inc of Columbus, Indiana, USA announced on 30 June that it completed a 100% acquisition of Hydrogenics Corporation, a manufacturer of hydrogen fuel cell products based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. 

Cummins acquired 81% of Hydrogenics’ shares from former parent Air Liquide SA, a multinational industrial gas and chemicals firm based in Paris, back in 2019. The remaining 19% of shares held by Air Liquide have now been bought by Cummins for an undisclosed sum (in 2019, Cummins paid approximately USD290m for 81%).
