Solaris announces another major order from Sardinia

Poland / Italy – Solaris Bus & Coach sp. z o.o. of Bolechowo, Poland has announced a second order for the island of Sardinia – 98 battery electric buses, to serve the city of Cagliari.
The order from CTM Cagliari comprises a mixture of standard and articulated Urbino models: 80 12-metre vehicles and 18 artic vehicles. It was organised through a framework agreement between Solaris and Consip SpA, a public joint-stock company which acts as procurer for the Ministero dell’Economia e delle Finanze (Italy’s Ministry of Economy and Finance).
