Leoni appoints new CEO

Germany – This month cable and harnessing manufacturer, Leoni AG of Nuremberg, Germany, appointed Klaus Rinnerberger as their new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective immediately, succeeding outgoing CEO Aldo Kamper who left the company in May 2023. During that time Hans-Joachim Ziems had taken on the role of caretaker CEO. Rinnerberger brings with him decades of management experience in the automotive supply sector working for the Magna Group, Polytec AG and Peguform (now SMP) and has been a member of the Executive Board of Pierer Industrie AG since 2010. The 59-year-old Austrian relinquishes his role on Leoni’s supervisory board which he held since 2021. The new Chairwoman of the supervisory board will be Dr Ulla Reisch, who has been a member of the supervisory board since May 2022.
