French retrofit firm Phoenix Mobility rebrands to Tolv

Renault Trafic converted to electric power by Tolv

France – In the past year, Phoenix Mobility, a retrofit firm based in Grenoble, France, has rebranded itself as ‘Tolv’ and attained UTAC and CNRV certification1 for the conversion of Renault mid-sized vans to electric power.

Tolv plans to convert 100 ‘Trafic’ vans this year and close to a thousand next year. These will be fitted with Torv’s retrofit kits, powered by a 34-kWh battery with a range of 159 kilometres. This comes out of a partnership with the original manufacturer, Renault, which is supporting Tolv to convert Trafic and, subsequently, ‘Master’ large-sized vans.
