Commercial vehicles sales in Ecuador increase by 10.2% in the first six months of 2023

Ecuador - Sales of commercial vehicles in the Ecuadorian market grew by 10.2% in the first half of 2023. According to AEADE - Association of Automotive Companies of Ecuador of Quito, 8,167 units were sold, surpassing the 7,413 vehicles registered in the same period last year.

Trucks, responsible for the largest volume, totalled the sale of 5,062 vehicles, down 0.9% compared to the 5,108 units sold in the same half of last year. The bus and coach market segment recovered strongly over the period to register 502 units, an increase of 90.2% over the 264 invoiced in the same half of 2022.
