Krone set to launch new-gen trailer tyre

Germany – In March this year, Krone Commercial Vehicles SE (a subsidiary of Bernard Krone Holding GmbH & Co KG) of Werlte, announced that this summer it would, through an unnamed tyre manufacturing partner, introduce a new generation branded trailer tyre with a 5-tonne load capacity. The “Krone Trusted Tyre Comfort” (KT231) tyre will feature a reinforced carcass and a widened tread depth (18mm), with a low rolling resistance. The snowflake symbol (3PMSF) indicates the high-performance under wintry conditions, which is paramount in Central and Northern Europe. Krone claims that this product offers a cost advantage of up to 35 percent compared to competitive products on the market.
