Pepper Motion to take over BPW’s 7.5-ton battery electric truck range

The BAX 7.5-ton truck
Germany – Pepper Motion GmbH of Denkendorf, Bavaria has announced an agreement with axle manufacturer BPW Group of Wiehl, North Rhine-Westphalia, allowing Pepper Motion to take over a 7.5-ton battery electric truck range and incorporate it into its product portfolio.
‘BAX’ is a cab-chassis platform designed for a range of inner-city applications, including distribution, waste collection, and road sweeping. With an energy capacity of 126 kWh, the truck has a range of over 200 kilometres, making it suited for interurban operations as well, according to Pepper Motion. The vehicle is driven by an electric axle, a component designed and produced by BPW under the name, ‘eTransport’.
